A GREAT NOVEMBER TOUR!
Wow! What an incredible week!!
We kicked off the tour with a sold out, rockin’ event in Nashville, TN. A few years ago, Nashville was our first ever tour stop outside of Texas and every single time we’ve been back it has been a fantastic day. Mike Arnott, our Teach Like A Rock Star Merch Monkey, made it out to the event and brought a truck load of shirts. If you haven’t seen our official Rock Star Teacher shirts, lanyards, koozies, etc., swing by The Rock Shop – it’s all very cool stuff. And, if you need shirts for your school or organization, be sure to hit up Mike. Trust me, with his awesome designs and service, you’ll be glad you did: [email protected].
From Nashville, TN, we drove through the night to Little Rock, AR. This was our first trip to Little Rock and we’ll be back for sure. We had over 130 teachers attend from all over the state and, of course, they were amazing. After the gig we walked around downtown looking for something to eat and came across this “Dress Code” sign hanging in the front of one of the restaurants. I thought, “If I had one of those in my classroom, I wouldn’t have any students.” (By the way, it’s obvious that I did not meet the requirements to “dine” there either.)
We finished up the tour in Oklahoma City, OK at the beautiful Waterford Hotel. Again, just like every time we go to Oklahoma City, we had a sold out show packed with world class educators.
Thank you so much to all of the hundreds of teachers that came to the events. More importantly, thank you for all you do for the kids in your classes – the leaders of tomorrow sitting in your desks today.
